At time in business such situation comes, we fall in love at first sight like in the cartoon and then we fall, as being a business person it is essential to look for all pros and cons otherwise we will be in trouble, wanted to something and ended up with doing something else. Wanted to be very smart and opportunistic can end up with being ugly and disappointed. Be very sure about what you are doing in business, what seems to be very attractive can be very dangerous, just like bubble bust in sub prime loan.   

Effective way to reduce cost

Its a rule of thumb which any leader and manager can be aware of, always consider all possibilities for cost cutting and improvement before going and asking for the suggestions to employees. Now a days "Boss is Always Right" may not hold true. Boss has to be very practical about the cost cutting approaches.

Leader has to be approachable and transparent to employees. Employees should feel that they are part of the team, organization. Each employee should be encouraged to ask questions, give suggestions.
